The service we received was exceptional, beginning even before our trip started. We had a change to our flights, and I had called to notify the hotel that we would be arriving in the early hours of the morning (rather than the evening prior) and the person I spoke to was so polite and lovely, making a not on our booking so that the hotel staff would know we were arriving later than expected. We had a wonderful stay, beginning from our arrival at 4AM, when we were greeted extremely pleasantly, and assisted quickly and efficiently after experiencing nothing but trouble with delayed flights and difficulties around collecting our rental car. Our stay was for 6 nights and we could not have been happier with the service and accommodation. The room was very pleasant, and larger than I expected. Every staff member we dealt with was polite and cheerful. Our rental car was kept in valet parking for the duration of our stay and brought out for us quickly each time we requested it. We only had one issue during our stay, which was that I had ordered but not received, a glass of wine at dinner one evening. When we reviewed and questioned our bill before signing it to the room, the cost for this was immediately removed and the staff were very apologetic for the oversight. The hotel is well located and within walking distance of some wonderful restaurants and cafes. It's also easy to navigate in and out via car, which made day trips very easy to access. We would definitely recommend the Novotel Hamilton Tainui to anyone looking to stay in Hamilton.

Had a pleasant stay. The room was maintained very well and was cleaned in between days. The bathroom was clean and tidy. The minibar was stocked up. the Bed was comfortable and there was no noise from outside, so had a peaceful sleep.

Easy checkin, friendly staff. Used bar area for some afternoon work was nice and quiet. Room was fine. Lifts were very busy, not sure if 2 are enough :)

Generally good, but: spoke to housekeeper re: room not serviced upon return about 3:30 pm and having been out 6 hours and was abruptly told that we were on the list in a queue of 4 rooms. Tried to order room service on Sunday am and was told kitchen too busy, eventually resolved the issue.
