This hotel was a nice surprise for us! First of all, every single employee (and I really mean EVERYONE) treat us super well, friendly, professional and tried to do an extra mile to make us fell comfortable (special mention to the guys at reception who spoiled our kids with treats more than once 😀). Breakfast was really good with lots of options and even the possibility of making your own fresh juice. Location was not super central but it was very convenient for walks along the Danube river promenade and the public transport brings you to any major tourist attraction very fast. The hotel really delivered and overcome our expectations.

Friendly and helpful staff, nice and comfortable stay. Only complaint was the very visible short black hair all over the shower recess walls left by housekeeping. This was mentioned to and shown with pictures after the first night which was acknowledged by reception then further informed to housekeeping team but no remedial action was taken. The short hairs (not ours) were still there for the duration of our 3 night stay, particularly where we hang our bath towels which was unpleasant and unhygienic. Toilet in room had a constant smell similar to unclean public toilets or airplane toilets. Even after housekeeping had serviced the rooms.

Bad experience with the front office n check in.

We take pride in our newly renovated rooms and are disheartened that the condition of your room was not reflective of our usual standards. Additionally, it is disappointing to note that the comfort of your bed was not up to your expectations, despite our efforts to provide quality bedding and allergy-free pillows for all our guests. Hotel is really well located. Easy access to old town by walk and to so many public transport options. Receptionist (male) was always very helpful and he did his job with a smile. Not 100% satisfied with breakfast and with restaurant. Having young children, we always find it convenient to chose a hotel where there is a restaurant on site. This time we only used it once...prices are 4 stars but NOT the food. Also, though the name is FAMILY AND FRIENDS THE SNUGGLY there was no kids menu. Also, we were not satisfied with the room cleaning services. We stayed in an executive room and unfortunately more than once dustbin, mugs & glasses were not cleaned, towels were not changed and beds were not done.
