Close to office and suitable for short business trip, horrible location otherwise

The hotel is suitable for short stays, close enough to my office. I was not pleased to discover that the hotel or certain rooms, are on the tram line. I could hear the trams going in both directions all day and all night. Perhaps it's because I'm accustomed to other hotels having hand lotion and conditioner; to not have these was a little surprising given I packed neither.

The room and our stay (7 nights) were good overall. However, my perception of this experience was very negatively impacted by the misleading information on your All Accor app when booking. It was the same price if booking 7 nights with breakfast or without. So I booked with breakfast, of course. But when I arrived at the hotel, I realized it was without breakfast and the person at the reception was asking an additional €400 for breakfast for our family. I showed the receptionist it was the same price on the app but she said it’s not the case in her system so she couldn’t do anything. Not even a commercial gesture. The frustration is mainly because I compared your hotel with another one and I choose yours, especially because the main difference was breakfast included. Now I feel I’ve been fooled, terrible feeling, while I had a pretty good image of Novotel.

Nice spacious rooms everything you need: good big bed, sofa, big tv, spacious shower, bath, ... You can open the windows for some fresh air. Little fridge and microwave are a plus

Quite expensive for a big room in medium quality. Window did not shield well from street noise, slightly dated bathroom but very comfy bed.

Best things first: I highly appreciated the possibility of having a smoking room. This is not obvious nowadays. Few things to improve: 1. Minor fixes should be performed (e.g. hardly any water pressure in the shower) 2. A coffee maker is great, but some creamer for the coffee would be great 3. breakfast was quite disappointing and not worth the price 4. Mug for a toothbrush on the sink might be a good idea. 5. USB charging slots are already standard in most hotels now. Same for hand and body lotion in the bathroom 6. Hook for a coat next to the door 6.
